The right-handed opening batter of Gujarat Giants hammered the fastest 50 of this WPL as she achieved the milestone in 18 balls. She blasted 65 off 28 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last fixture. Her innings was laced with 11 fours and three sixes.
The all-rounder of Gujarat Giants contributed with bat and ball in her last outing against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The off-spinner was the most successful bowler with 3/31 in four overs. She also muscled 19 off 15, including a couple of hits to the fence.
The skipper of Delhi Capitals picked up from where she had left in the last game and scored 43 off 41 against Mumbai Indians in her previous appearance. The right-handed opening batter laid a solid foundation and was there till the end of the 13th over. She anchored the innings but failed to find able allies.
The right-handed middle-order batter of Delhi Capitals played quickfire innings of 25 from 18 against Mumbai Indians in the last match. She smashed three boundaries and shared a 50-run partnership with captain Meg Lanning for the fourth wicket. She also accounted for a brilliant catch in the deep.
It will be the fifth match of the tournament at the venue. The teams batting first and second have won two each. Apart from the last game played here, the other three were high-scoring. The surface looks good for batting. Expect a run feast.
