“Shabaash Mithu” will be produced by Viacom18 Studios. It will showcase Mithali Raj’s sporting career in cricket. Raj, who recently completed 20 years in international cricket, is also the leading run-scorer in women’s ODIs of all time.
Mithali is the second woman cricketer ever to have secured 100 international wins for her country as a captain. She is also the first Indian captain to lead the country in 2 World Cup finals.
The current India ODI skipper has many accolades to her name. For a long time she has been the poster girl of Indian cricket. It’s befitting that her illustrious career will be shown on the big screen. This will definitely motivate young girls to take up sports as a career.
