Saskia Horley

The 24-year-old all-rounder, averaging 34.57 and striking at 119.21, has amassed 242 runs from 8 T20Is and recorded a highest of 61*, while also taking 3 wickets. Saskia warmed up for the tournament with scores of 34* and 82*, and replicated the success, scoring 61* in the tournament opener. It’ll be expected of the batter to extend this run of form.

Priyanaz Chatterji

The 30-year-old all-rounder in T20Is, from 33 innings has added 294 runs to the tally and bagged 26 wickets from 38 outings, with bests of 32* and 3/5. Priyanaz hasn’t been required with the bat on this campaign thus far, while she has produced figures of 3/17, 0/28, and 1/11, including in the two warm-up games. She can be counted on to deliver the goods.

Hasini Perera

The 28-year-old middle-order batter, from 65 T20I innings has accumulated 689 runs, including the highest of 46*. Hasini has been amongst the runs lately, and on this tour, in the warm-up games, she registered scores of 22 and 27*. Continuing her momentum, she scored 29 runs in the tournament opener, and it’ll be hoped she converts her starts.

Udeshika Prabodhani

The 38-year-old left-arm pacer has scalped 69 wickets from 91 T20I outings, at an economy rate of 5.50, and has also scored 118 runs from 42 innings. While Udeshika didn’t find much success in a recent series, on this tour of UAE, she has returned figures of 1/14, 2/8, and 2/10, including in the two warm-up games. She’ll want to capitalize on this return to form.

Pitch:

The 22 yards at Zayed Cricket Stadium provide a somewhat neutral playing field, but the conditions are slightly advantageous to bowlers over batters. Spinners, in particular, benefit from the conditions, and a score in the 150s can be deemed competitive on this wicket.
