She currently represents Kent and the South East Stars in English domestic cricket. Carter made her county debut for Kent in 2022, showcasing promising performances with six wickets in the Women’s Twenty20 Cup. She was part of the South East Stars Academy squad before being promoted to the senior squad in June 2023.
In T20Is for Scotland across 12 matches, she has scored 224 runs with one 50+ score and a highest score of 53*, and 13 wickets with a best of 3/11, averaging 12.07 and maintaining an economy of 5.60. Whereas, in 4 ODIs, she has been able to take 3 wickets and score 50 runs.
Carter represented Scotland Under-19s in the Europe Qualifier for the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, notably scoring a century against the Netherlands. She made her senior debut for Scotland in July 2023, playing in both Twenty20 and One Day International matches against Thailand and Ireland, respectively.
