The 27-year-old opening batter has racked up 1118 runs from 48 T20I innings at an average of 31.05, with the highest score of 75*. Modester looked in decent form during the warm-up games, registering scores of 11 and 43*, while in the tournament opener, she departed for a duck. It’ll be expected of the seasoned batter to find her footing.
Kelis Ndhlovu
The 18-year-old in T20Is, from 35 outings, has accumulated 608 runs and claimed 35 wickets from 33 innings, including respective bests of 58* and 3/12. Though Kelis departed cheaply for 7 in the competition opener, she produced figures of 1/9 (4). She has been in notable form with both the bat and ball and can be banked upon for all-round performances.
