Amruta Saran:
The right-handed top order batter of Angels top scored with 25 runs off 19 balls, including four boundaries in her last outing against Queens. She came in to bat in the sixth over and completely changed the complexion of the game in the matter of just four overs. Apart from her batting, she contributed with the ball as she scalped 13/1 in two overs.
Srimeera Chandrasekaran:
She was the pick of the bowlers for Angels in her last match against Queens. She opened the bowling with Janaki Ramasamy and accounted for 15/2 in two overs. She claimed both the wickets in the fifth over of the match.
Sonal Patil:
This all-rounder from Princess top scored with 27 runs off 25 balls, including a couple of boundaries. The right-handed batter opened the batting and set the foundation for the run chase. Early in the day, she opened the bowling and bowled two overs giving away just the nine runs.
Abirame Ramamurthy:
The left-arm speedster from Princess starred with the ball in her last appearance against Lionesses. She opened the bowling with Sonal Patil and bowled well with the new ball. She conceded just eight runs in two overs bagging one wicket. She was one of the two wicket-takers for Princess in the last match.
Pitch
This will be the third match of the tournament at the venue. Teams batting first have won both the matches. The average first innings score is 73 and the average second innings score is 61. Batting has not been that easy, on the other hand, the cloudy conditions have assisted the bowlers.
