Yuvashri Karthikeyan:
The right-handed opening batter of Lionesses top scored with 25 runs off 20 balls, including three boundaries and a six in her last outing against Princess. She set the foundation and helped her side post a competitive score of 79 in 10 overs.
Uma Venkatesan:
The right arm off spinner from Lionesses claimed 10/2 in two overs. The wily spinner bowled in good areas and reaped the rewards for her consistency. She struck twice in the eighth over of the match.
Nandhini Chandrasekaran:
The captain of Queens top scored with 16 runs off 15 balls, including a couple of boundaries against Angels in her last match. She opened the batting and the bowling for her team. With the ball, she bowled two overs and conceded just nine runs.
Roshini Natarajan Rajasekaran:
The right-arm speedster from Queens had a good outing with the ball in her last appearance against Angels. She accounted for 7/1 in her two overs and was the most economical bowler in the team. She opened the bowling with Nandhini Chandrasekaran and gave a good start to her team with the ball.

The last two matches that were played yesterday saw the teams batting first winning both of them. The average first innings score is 73 and the average second innings score is 61. Batting has not been that easy, on the other hand, the cloudy conditions have assisted the bowlers.
