Amruta Saran:
She was the most successful bowler for Angels in her last appearance against Queens. She scalped 6/2 in two overs, riding on her consistency. She claimed the wickets in the fifth and eighth overs of the match. She is a genuine all-rounder, who bats in the top order.
Kavisha Elayaperumal:
The right-handed opening batter from Angels top scored with an unbeaten 17 off 21 balls, including one boundary, in her last outing against Queens. She led the run chase from the front and guided her team to an eight-wicket win. She also bowled a couple of overs and conceded 11 runs.
Likhitha VG:
The right-handed opening batter of Princess muscled 52 runs off just 32 balls, including six boundaries in her last outing against Lionesses. She stitched a 40-run partnership with her opening partner Radhika Pandian to lay a solid foundation. She batted all the way till the 10th over of the match. Apart from her batting, she contributed with the ball, picking up 13/1 in two overs.
Sonal Patil:
The right arm speedster from Princess opened the bowling against Lionesses in her last match. She was one of the two wicket-takers for the team as she accounted for 8/1 in two overs. She was also one of the most economical bowlers in the side. Moreover, with the bat, she scored an unbeaten 25 off 11 balls, including four boundaries.
Pitch
This will be the 10th match of the tournament at the venue. Out of the eight matches that were played till July 7, the teams batting first have won six and the teams batting second have won two. The average first innings score is 72 and the average second innings score is 52. Approaching the business end of the tournament, the wicket is expected to be on the slower side making it difficult for the batters to score freely.
