Mas Elysa: The right arm leg spinner from Malaysia was the solitary wicket-taker for the team in her last appearance against UAE. She picked up 18/1 in two overs. The wily leg spinner bowled well in the middle overs. Apart from this, she scored 34 runs off 31 balls, including five boundaries, at the top of the order.
Elsa Hunter: The right-handed middle order batter from Malaysia mustered 34 runs off 33 balls, including three boundaries in her last match against UAE. In the process, she stitched a 54-run partnership with Mas Elysa for the third wicket to give some hope to Malaysia, who were chasing 135 runs in 20 overs.
Priyanka Mendonca: The right-handed middle order batter of Oman top scored with an unbeaten 48 off 39 balls in her last outing against Singapore. She smashed seven boundaries in her innings and was the vital cog in the batting wheel of Oman. With the ball, she scalped 15/2 in four overs.
Saya Channa: The right arm medium pace bowler from Oman claimed 19/2 in four overs in her last match against Singapore. She opened the bowling and bowled well with the new ball. She struck in the very first over of the match giving a perfect start to Oman.
Pitch
The last match that was played here yesterday saw more than 220 runs being scored. Nine wickets fell in the process. The team batting second won the match comfortably chasing 110 runs. The wicket has looked good for batting. On the other hand, bowlers will have to make good use of the cloudy conditions to be effective.
