The number one all-rounder in the world of women’s ODI cricket had a great outing with the ball in the first ODI against South Africa. The English seamer wreaked havoc with 59/4 in 9.4 overs to rattle the opposition. With the bat, she scored a delectable 55 off 36 balls, including eight boundaries.
Emma Lamb:
The right-handed opening batter of England registered her maiden ODI century in the first match against South Africa. She muscled 102 runs off 97 balls, including 15 boundaries. She led the run chase from the front as she set the foundation for the rest of the batters. She batted beautifully for 30 overs and won the player of the match for her match-winning innings.
Nadine de Klerk:
This South Africa all-rounder made useful contributions with both bat and ball in the first ODI against England. The right-handed middle order batter mustered 38 runs off 53 balls, including two boundaries and stitched a crucial 97-run partnership with Chloe Tryon for the sixth wicket. With the ball, the right-arm medium pacer struck with 44/2 in eight overs and was the most successful bowler for the Proteas.
Chloe Tryon:
She is an attacking right-handed middle-order batter of South Africa, who top scored with a fighting 88 off 73 balls, including 10 boundaries and three sixes in the first ODI against England. She came in to bat when her team was struggling at 73/4. She held the innings together and helped her side go past the 200-run mark.
