Bio:
Jess Jonassen is one of the most experienced players in the Delhi Capitals lineup. Having featured in as many as 105 T20Is and nearing 100 ODIs for Australia she is a regular feature for the national side. She has represented Australia in 5 T20 and 2 ODI World Cups.
She is one of the most consistent performers for Australia and in her 105 T20I matches, she has contributed with bat as well as ball. She averages 19.62 with the ball and has claimed 96 wickets in the process. With Australia’s batting depth, she is seldom needed with the bat but in her 43 innings in T20Is, she has scored 438 runs.
In the previous edition of the WPL, Jess Jonassen played in 9 games as her team fell short at the final hurdle, losing the final of the inaugural edition to Mumbai Indians. She scored 79 runs and accounted for 9 wickets. She will be hoping to better her numbers this season and show the quality we know her to possess at the international level.
