Alice Capsey the hard-hitting all-rounder made her debut for the English Women’s side in July of 2023 against South Africa.
Since her debut, Capsey has featured in 24 games for the national side and has been a consistent contributor to the batting line-up. She has scored 456 runs at a strike of 131.03 and has an average of 21.71 in the shortest form of the game. With her Off Break, she has been effective in controlling the scoring rate and providing breakthroughs when needed.
Having featured in leagues like the WBBL (Australia) and The Hundred (England), Capsey brings the much-required experience with bat as well as ball to the Delhi Capitals middle-order. The lack of quality spinners in the Delhi lineup makes her an important member of the setup. In the previous edition of the WPL, Capsey picked up 6 wickets with her part-time Off Break.
