Bio:

Hayley Jensen is a right-handed bowling all-rounder who started her cricketing career in Australia but later got banned in Australia for six months due to betting. She then relocated to New Zealand and started playing domestic cricket for Otago Sparks.

She got a maiden call for the 2018 ICC women’s World T20 tournament in West Indies. Later on, in the year 2020, she was selected for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia, where Jensen showcased her class and became the leading wicket-taker for New Zealand, taking seven wickets in just 4 matches. During the World Cup, she got a ‘Player of the Match Award’ for taking 3 absolute wickets after giving just 16 runs against Sri Lanka. In June 2022, Jensen won the bronze medal for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

Thus far Hayley Jensen represented Otago Sparks, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes, and Trinbago Knight Riders in her cricketing career.
