Bio:
Rameen Shamim, a right-arm off-break bowler, became a vital part in the national team. She improved her skills playing for domestic teams like Karachi and Sindh. In 2019, Rameen’s dedication paid off with a well-deserved national call-up, and she marked her international debut.
A few months later, in November 2019, Rameen was selected for the Pakistan squad touring Malaysia to face England. This tour marked another milestone – her WODI debut against England on December 9th, 2019.
In June 2021 when she was appointed captain of the Pakistan women’s A team for their one-day matches against the West Indies. This role showcased her potential to inspire and guide the next generation of Pakistani cricketers. She continued to be a part of the national team, featuring in the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe.
