Brief History of Cambodia Women’s National Cricket Team
The Cambodia national women’s cricket team represents the country in international cricket. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Cambodia became a member of the ICC in July 2022. Consequently, all Twenty20 matches played between Cambodia and other ICC members after that date are recognized as full WT20I matches.
The team made its international debut in December 2022, hosting a six-match WT20I series against the Philippines, where they won five out of six matches. They debuted against the Philippines at ISF Sports Ground, Phnom Penh, on 21 December 2022.
