Players to watch out:

Leah Paul

The 24-year-old all-rounder has amassed 130 runs from 4 outings in this Super 20 Trophy and also has a wicket to her name. In the T20 fixtures, Leah has registered scores of 71 (47) and 40 (28) an innings apart, while her economical returns with the ball read 0/27, 1/16, and 0/6. Given her form, count on her for the goods.

Jane Maguire

The 21-year-old pacer has had a notable season thus far, bagging just a couple of wickets from 3 outings in the Super 20 Trophy. Jane followed up her wicketless start to the T20 season with bowling figures of 1/26 and 1/23 in the subsequent games, and continuing on the momentum, it is hoped she delivers the breakthroughs.

Amy Hunter

The 18-year-old keeper-batter hasn’t had a very successful Super 20 Trophy campaign, adding only 84 runs to the tally from 4 outings. Amy built on her starts of 5 and 14 with a fine 43-ball 52, but in her most recent outing departed for 13 (20). She is an experienced batter and will be backed to produce a big knock.

Orla Prendergast

The 22-year-old all-rounder in the 2024 Super 20 Trophy, from 4 outings, has posted 105 runs on the board and also has struck 3 scalps. While with the bat, an innings apart, she has registered scores of 60 (39) and 36 (31), she only recently produced figures of 3/20 with the ball. She can be banked upon for an all-round effort.

Pitch:

The center wicket at the Oak Hill Cricket Club provides a well-balanced playing surface, slightly favoring the bowlers. Despite being good for batting, the average score in the 120s suggests that the wicket has enough in it for bowlers, particularly pacers.

Weather:

With light winds, 73% humidity, and the temperature expected to be around 19°C, the conditions are ideal for a game in Kilbride. Despite cloudy overhead, the chances of rain are minimal, so we should have a complete game.
