All you need to know about 2024 Pondicherry Women’s T20 Tournament

The Cricket Association of Pondicherry (CAP) is set to host the second edition of the Pondicherry Women’s T20 tournament from the 15th to the 21st of July 2024, at the CAP Ground 4. From squads and schedule to broadcasting details and format, below is everything you need to know about the T20 competition.

The competition will feature the same four teams – Angels, Princess, Diamonds, and Queens – that competed in the previous season and a recent CAP-organized 10-over tournament held as early as last month, June 2024. In the 2023 T20 tournament, Angels and Princess emerged as frontrunners with 4 and 3 wins respectively out of their 6 games each, advancing to the final. The Angels clinched an emphatic 10-wicket win, chasing down 46 runs in a rain-curtailed final.

Format:

The competition will follow a double round-robin format, where each team will face every other team twice, totaling 12 league games. The Final will be played between the top two teams from the league table.
