Amy Hunter is a right-handed batswoman and wicketkeeper who made her ODI Debut on 5th October playing against Zimbabwe.

Amy, who turned 16 today, has now created a World Record and scripted her name in the history books – She has become the Youngest ever Cricketer (male or female) to score a Century in International One Day Cricket.

Ireland Women’s Cricket team posted their highest ever total- 312 Runs in the ODIs. 16 year Old Amy Hunter also broke Mithali Raj’s 22-Year-Old Record when she became the youngest player to score a century in ODIs in 1999 vs Ireland.

Playing just her 4th ODI Match in her career, birthday girl Amy Hunter has become a social media sensation after she smashed 121 not out in 127 balls, comprising 8 boundaries. Thanks to her brilliant century, Ireland has scored their highest ever team total in Women’s ODIs – 312 Runs.

This is the 4th and Final ODI of the series against Zimbabwe Women and Ireland already lead the series 2-1.
