As we gear up for India Women’s all-format series against Australia Women starting 21st September, let us look at some previous records between the two teams.

Looking at the past ODI stats between both the teams, a total of 46 ODIs have been played with India winning just 9 of them. However, the last time they played together was in 2018.

The ODI will be followed by the historic One-off test which will be played from 30th September to 3rd October at Carrara Oval, Queensland, Australia. This would be the first day-night Test for the India Women Team and a test against Australia after 15 years. The last time Australia and India women’s team played a Test against them was in 2006. As per the stats are concerned, both the teams have played 9 tests against each other with 5 of them ending in a draw and 4 won by Australia. India is yet to win their 1st Test Match against Australia.

Though, the stats might show the dominance of Australia over India but the fact that the current team India is completely changed and a very strong team with exceptionally talented players can’t be left hidden.
