Aliya Riaz is one of the important players in the Pakistan women’s cricket team. She is known for her strong batting in the middle order and her useful medium-pace bowling. She has played for Pakistan for many years and has helped the team in many important matches.
Aliya loved sports from a young age. During her college days, she was also good at badminton, but later she decided to focus only on cricket. Her strong batting during Under-19 trials impressed selectors and helped her get a place in the Rawalpindi regional team. Later, she moved to Lahore and continued playing domestic cricket.
A big moment in her career came in 2014 when she scored an unbeaten 156 for Lahore Women in the National Women’s Cricket Championship. After that performance, she earned a place in the Pakistan national team.

Aliya Riaz made her WT20I debut for Pakistan against Australia in August 2014. Since then, she has played more than 100 T20I matches for Pakistan and has become a regular player in the team.
In T20I cricket, Aliya has scored 1296 runs and taken 20 wickets. She has also scored two half-centuries. She is known for playing attacking shots and scoring important runs in the middle overs.
