Players to watch out:

Gaby Lewis

The 23-year-old top-order batter in the Super 50 Cup has amassed 233 runs, including scores of 38 (41) and 66 (79) from her previous couple of outings, on the return of the 2nd and final leg of the competition. Lewis has been in notable form throughout the domestic season, including the recently concluded Super 20 Trophy, and will be backed to deliver another good score, leading the scoring.

Alice Tector

The teen all-rounder had a decent first leg of the Super 50 Cup fixtures and in the recently concluded Super 20 Trophy; while only managing 3 wickets, she added 82 runs to the tally. Building on her T20 success, on the Super 50 Cup return, Alice produced figures of 2/37 and 2/24, and with the bat, followed up a nought with a solid 43. She’ll be banked upon for the goods.

Orla Prendergast

The 22-year-old all-rounder didn’t find much success in the first leg of the Super 50 Cup. However, on the back of a successful T20 competition, where she posted 154 runs and took 4 wickets, Orla, in the 2nd leg of the 50-over competition, has registered scores of 37 (34), 77 (68), and 159* (109), alongside returning figures of 4/31, 2/10, and 0/9. The team will count on her for another all-round effort.

Cara Murray

The 23-year-old leg-spinner was a stand out in the first leg of the Super 50 Cup but hasn’t had similar success since breaking for the Super 20 Trophy. In the T20 games, she only managed 3 wickets, and on the Super 50 Cup return has registered figures of 2/30, 0/25, and 1/57. Despite a dip in form, Cara has been economical and effective and will be backed to finish off on a high, producing breakthroughs.

Pitch:

The Inch wicket pleases the bowlers, particularly the pacers, and poses challenges for the batters. The pace-friendly conditions result in an average score in the 170s, demanding discipline from batters to post a competitive total.

Weather:

The conditions in Dublin are expected to be pleasant for the game, with partly cloudy skies and a low chance of rain. The temperature is forecasted to hover around 19°C, with light winds and humidity at 68%.
