Thailand, post a clean sweep in the 3-match One-Day International series will now take on Zimbabwe in a 3-match Twenty20 International series that has its opener scheduled for the 25th of April, 2023 at Terdthai Cricket Ground, Bangkok.
While Thailand last played a T20I in December 2022, Zimbabwe’s last T20I had come back in September 2022 and that happened to be against Thailand, in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier and on that occasion, Thailand had the better of Zimbabwe.

Natthakan Chantam
The 27-year-old batter in 59 Twenty20 International (T20Is) has scored 1249 runs and has got the highest score of 88*. Chantam had a couple of good scores in the 02 FairBreak Invitational and also looked in good touch during the One-Day series.
Onnicha Kamchomphu
The 25-year-old all-rounder, in 29 T20I innings with the bat, has scored 116 runs and in 48 T20I innings with the ball, has struck as many wickets. Onnicha, in her previous 3 T20I outings, registered bowling figures of 3/18, 1/17, and 1/17.
Kelis Ndhlovu
The 17-year-old in 15 T20Is has got to 285 runs including the highest of 58* and has struck 15 wickets with the best of 3/15. Kelis in the One-Day series repeatedly produced impressive figures of 5/22, 3/17, and 2/19.
Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano
The 31-year-old in 32 innings with the bat has scored 685 runs at an average of 27.40, a strike rate of 108.04, and has got the highest score of 80. While Chipo had a poor One-Day series, it must be noted that her most recent T20 score was an unbeaten 92.

The pitch at the Terdthai Cricket Ground is a well-balanced one as its got runs on offer for batters and wickets for bowlers. The track at the venue does favor the bowlers, especially the spinners and for the same, the average score is only a low 75.
