In the showdown between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals, held at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi Capitals, led by Meg Lanning, won the toss and opted to bat.

Delhi Capitals were 64 for no loss in the first 7 overs then massively collapsed for 49 runs against 10 wickets in the next 11.3 overs, posting 113 runs on board. In Bangalore’s chase for victory, Ellyse Perry scored 35, runs off 37 balls comprising four boundaries, helping Bangalore chase the target in 19.3 overs by 8 wickets. Her crucial steady innings led Royal Challengers Bangalore to their maiden trophy win.

In the eliminator against Mumbai Indians, Perry showcased her batting expertise by smashing a commendable 66 runs off just 50 deliveries. Her innings included eight boundaries and a maximum and played a pivotal role in Bangalore posting a competitive total of 135 runs in the eliminator match held on March 15th. In the last league match against Mumbai Indians, she scored an unbeaten 40 runs off 38 balls with five boundaries and a maximum, showcasing a balanced blend of patience and aggression. Her exceptional bowling figures of 6 wickets against 15 runs in that match earned her the well-deserved title of Player of the Match.
