Sayali Satghare, the all-rounder from Mumbai has been named as a replacement for Kashvee Gautam in the Gujarat Giants squad for the upcoming WPL. The youngster hailing from Mumbai is proficient with bat as well as ball and is a great value addition to any line-up.
In the recently concluded Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2023, Sayali Satghare played a crucial role in Mumbai’s title-winning run. The all-rounder scored crucial runs and contributed with 8 wickets in 10 games. She bowled with great control, provided breakthroughs, and bowled with an economy of 5.90, conceding a touch under less than run a ball.
Sayali was unsold in the auction and remains to make her debut in the WPL. With Kashvee Gautam ruled out of the tournament it is likely that a chance will come her way. Even if she doesn’t get to play a game, this WPL will surely be a learning experience like no other for her.
