In last year’s WPL 2023 season, she was fetched by the Gujrat Giants for INR 75 lakh. She underscores her worth when Gujarat Giants faced adversity and needed leadership they turned to Rana, entrusting her with the captain’s responsibilities after Beth Mooney’s injury. Despite her best efforts, the team faced challenges, managing to secure victories in only two matches. Rana also has a tough time bowling as she could only manage to take 6 wickets in 7 innings. Both Rana and the Gujarat Giants will be determined to change their fortunes this year aiming for a stronger performance.
