Priyanka Bala who is renowned for her finishing skills on the domestic circuit, started her domestic career with Railways before making the move to Bengal the domestic team of the state she was born in.
Priyanka amassed 159 runs in 7 innings in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2023. Averaging 26.50 with the bat and scoring important middle-order runs, Priyanka played a crucial role in Bengal’s run in the tournament. Her best performance in the tournament came against Karnataka where she scored a quick 23-ball 34 to lead her team a competitive score.
Having yet to make her WPL debut for Mumbai Indians, Priyank will be hoping a chance comes her way this season. She will be hoping to give the cricketing world a glimpse of what she is capable of and has done for the past year or so on the domestic circuit.
