Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) terminated Women’s head coach Vidyuth Jaisimha’s contract for drinking in the team bus.

As per reports, the head coach of the senior women’s team from Hyderabad, Vidyuth Jaisimha has been allegedly found drinking alcohol in a team bus and as a result, was removed as the head coach of the women’s side a result of the suspension, he cannot participate in any cricket-related activity. The complaint was filed through an email.

“This is a matter of serious concern and I have asked for a thorough investigation and a decision will be taken after the probe.” HCA president Jagan Mohan Rao speaks about setting a probe and taking appropriate action after investigating the matter. A video evidence was attached with the mail to the HCA complaining about the incident.

Earlier in the week, the parents and relatives of several women cricketers who witnessed the incident, brought the incident to the notice of the HCA chief informing about the misconduct of the coach with the players and demanding a life ban for the accused coach. “We, as parents and relatives of women players in the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) would like to bring to your notice that Vidyuth Jaisimha the head coach of the women’s team is always drunk and is misbehaving with girls. He is drinking so much and his behavior is so bad and obvious that it is risking our girl’s safety and also the reputation of the HCA.” The parents and relatives expressed their concern and demanded a life ban for the head coach.
