Bio:
Jimtimani Kalita, a skilled all-rounder represents Assam on the domestic circuit. With bowling being her stronger suite, she has been Assam’s strike bowler all season.
In the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2023, Jimtimani Kalita was among one of the highest wicket-takers of the tournament. She ended the tournament with 15 wickets in only 7 games at an average of 8.06. She stemmed the flow of runs and bowled with great control, bowling at an economy of only 5.07.
In the previous edition of the WPL, she featured in all games for the Mumbai Indians. However much like other domestic talent, she was underutilised owing to the excess of international stars in the playing XI. On the back of a great run in the domestic season, Jimtimani will be hoping to make more impactful contributions this season.
