Winning the toss, Thunder opted to bowl on a surface that was tailor-made for batting. Opening for Sixers, Perry and Healy continued their prime form with the bat. Healy started aggressively and scored 40 before she got dismissed to Bates. The other opener, Perry played a powerful knock of 81 runs in 70 balls helped Sixers to score 152 for 3 in 20 overs. With the ball, the spinner Bates bowled well with the figures of 1 for 23 in 4 overs.

Chasing the target of 153, No batter played a proper and responsible inning, all got into 10’s and gave their wicket away.
