Brief History of Eswatini Women’s National Cricket Team
The Eswatini women’s national cricket team represents Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland) in international women’s cricket. Since being granted full Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) status by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in April 2018, all T20 matches played between Eswatini and other ICC member nations have been recognized as WT20Is.
Eswatini’s women’s team played their first WT20I match against Botswana on August 20, 2018. This marked the beginning of their journey in international women’s cricket.

2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier:
Eswatini participated in the 2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier. Placed in Group A, despite their efforts, Eswatini faced defeat in matches and ultimately finished at the bottom of the group standings.
