Bio:

Her journey began in March 2016, making her WT20I debut against the West Indies in Chennai. But batting left-handed was not enough for Muneeba. Two years later, in March 2018, she put on the wicket-keeping gloves for her WODI debut against Sri Lanka in Dambulla, showcasing her versatility.

The year 2018 proved to be a turning point. Muneeba’s consistent performances earned her a spot in both the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournaments held in India and the West Indies. This was just the beginning. Muneeba continued to be a support in the national team, featuring in the 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia and the 2022 World Cup in New Zealand. Her talent did not go unnoticed and earned her a nomination for the PCB Women’s Cricketer of the Year award in 2020.

But Muneeba’s defining moment arrived in February 2023. In the scorching South African heat, during the Women’s T20 World Cup, she rewrote history. Her blistering knock of 102 runs off just 68 balls against Ireland marked the first ever WT20I century by a Pakistani woman.
