Gull Feroza took the cricketing world by storm with her right-handed batting and wicket-keeping skills. In May 2022, her talent was recognized on the national stage. The call came for Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan, and Feroza found herself named in both the Women’s One Day International and Women’s Twenty20 International squads.
Then came the moment every athlete dream of, the debut. On May 24th, 2022, Feroza stepped onto the field at the Southend Club Cricket Stadium in Karachi for her first ever WT20I match against Sri Lanka.
This was just the beginning. Later that same month, her skills were once again acknowledged with a call-up to Pakistan’s team for the Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England. Feroza’s international career is still young, but with every match, every opportunity behind the wicket and every chance to bat, she has the potential to mark her name in the minds of cricket fans across the globe.
