Hayley Matthews, Aliya Riaz and Muneeba Ali gets a ranking boost in the latest update

West Indies and Pakistan stars capture the headlines in the latest ODI Rankings. The West Indies women’s team led by skipper Hayley Matthews is currently in Pakistan for a limited-overs series that includes a three-match ODI series followed by a five-match T20I series. On the other hand, the Indian women’s team led by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is in Bangladesh for a five-match T20I series. The series could turn out to be a good platform for the women in blue to get used to the conditions on offer and prepare accordingly for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings:

The West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews was the leading run-scorer of the ODI series against Pakistan with 325 runs to her name at a mind-boggling average of 162.50 in three innings. Her tally of runs included a couple of centuries. As a result of her remarkable consistency, she has earned a decent rise as she climbed up four spots to the 7th position with 666 points to her name.

The veteran 32-year-old West Indian batter Stafanie Taylor was the 3rd highest-run scorer of the series with 122 runs to her name, which also included one half-century. She has also climbed up a couple of spots to the 16th position with 581 points to her name in the latest rankings update.

The 31-year-old wicket-keeper batter Shemaine Campbelle had a decent series as she ended up as the 2nd highest run-scorer with 135 runs to her name in three innings. She has climbed up four spots to the 50th position with 369 points to her name.

As far as Pakistan are concerned, the 31-year-old all-rounder Aliya Riaz has scored 58 runs in three innings in the ODI series against the West Indies. She has also climbed up four spots to 35th position with 447 points to her name in the latest rankings. The 26-year-old wicket-keeper batter Muneeba Ali was the 2nd highest run-scorer for Pakistan with 62 runs to her name, after Bismah Mahroof (91 runs in three innings). She has climbed up five spots to 53rd position with 364 points to her name.

The 24-year-old wicket-keeper batter from Scotland Sarah Bryce has climbed up one spot to 65th position with 319 points to her name. The Sri Lankan batter Hasini Perera climbed up one spot to 66th position with 315 points to her name. Jess Jonassen climbed up one spot to 67th position with 314 points.Nadine de Klerk climbed up one spot to 68th position with 313 points to her name. Robine Rijke from the Netherlands has climbed up one spot to 83rd position with 263 points, alongside Zimbabwe’s Modester Mupachikwa.

Arlene Kelly climbed up one spot to 85th with 261 points to her name. Lata Mondal from Bangladesh climbed up one spot to 86th position with 260 points to her name. Hannah Rowe from New Zealand climbed up one spot to 87th position with 258 points to her name.

ICC Women’s ODI Bowling Rankings:

The West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews climbed up one spot to 6th position with 642 points to her name. England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt climbed up one spot to the 17th position with 518 points to her name. The South African all-rounder Nadine de Klerk climbed up one spot to the 22nd position with 484 points to her name. The 28-year-old West Indian all-rounder Chinelle Henry picked up five wickets in three innings in the ODI series against Pakistan. She has earned a remarkable rise as she jumps up seven spots to the 29th position with 421 points to her name.

The 29-year-old veteran West Indian off-spinner Karishma Ramharack has also climbed up six spots to the 56th position with 333 points in the rankings. Shreyanka Patil and Nattaya Boochatham have climbed up one spot and equaled 63rd position with 309 points to her name. The veteran all-rounder from the West Indies have climbed up three spots to the 75th position with 271 points to her name.

ICC Women’s ODI All-rounder Rankings:

The veteran 32-year-old West Indian all-rounder Stafanie Taylor has climbed up three spots to the 20th position in the rankings. New Zealand bowler Fran Jonas has climbed up one spot to equal 41st position with 88 points to her name. Afy Fletcher from West Indies has climbed up one spot to 53rd position with 72 points in the rankings. Indian pacer Meghna Singh has climbed up one spot to equal 49th position with 79 points to her name.

Pakistan’s Aliya Riaz has climbed up three spots to equal 55th position with 69 points alongside Orla Prendergast, Leah Paul, and Sneh Rana. Fahima Khatun from Bangladesh has climbed up one spot to 60th position with 61 points to her name. Aaliyah Alleyne from West Indies has earned a significant rise as she climbed up seven spots to equal the 63rd position with 57 points to her name.
