Netherlands Women were up against table toppers Thailand Women in the fifth match of the tournament. Once again, it was a comfortable eight-wicket win for Thai Women. Winning the toss for the third time in as many matches so far, the hosts chose to bat first. The entire Netherlands team was bowled out for 54 in 17.5 overs. In reply, Thailand Women reached the target in just eight overs. Thai player Nattaya Boochatham put up another all-rounder performance taking three wickets in 2.5 overs and remained unbeaten at six during the chase. Opener Nattakan Chantam also made 42 off just 31 balls.

Scotland vs Ireland Women

Scotland Women faced Ireland Women in the second match of the day. Batting first after winning the toss, Scotland Women posted 105/6 in allotted 20 overs. Irish team could make only 94 runs with the loss of seven wickets, thus losing the match by 11 runs in the end. Scottish batter Lorna jack was the highest scorer of the match with 32 runs from 55 balls while Eimear Richardson removed three Irish batters in her four overs but in vain.
