History of India vs New Zealand Cricket

India and New Zealand share a massive history of cricket. 

1955-56

It all began in 1955 where the first test was played in Hyderabad, and the match was drawn. In this match, India scored 498 for four where they declared their innings, and in reply Newzealand scored 326 and 212/2. The second test pause held in Bombay India won by an inning and 27 runs. 

The third test was held at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi, and this match resulted in a draw where New Zealand scored 450 runs for two wickets and then declared, and India scored 531 runs for seven wickets and then declared. In a 4 test held in Calcutta at Eden gardens again, the match and withdrawn result and India won the match with an inning and nine runs.

1969-70

The first test was held in Bombay and India won this test match by 60 runs India scored 156 runs in the first inning and 260 runs in the second innings and in reply New Zealand scored 229 runs in the first inning and 127 runs in the second innings. The second test was held in Nagpur, where New Zealand sealed the victory by 167 runs, and the third test was held in Hyderabad with the result ended up with a draw.

2012

The first test match was played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, and the Indian team very easily won this match with an inning and 115 runs. In the second test match which was held at Bangalore, India sealed their victory bi Pi wickets. In this match, the New Zealand team scored 365 runs in the first inning and 248 runs in the second innings. India scored 353 runs in the first inning and 262 runs for five wickets in the second innings.

2016-17

The first test between India and New Zealand was held at Kanpur. India sealed their victory by 197 runs in the test match. India scored 318 runs in the first inning, and 377 runs in the second inning and then declared. The New Zealand team scored two 62 runs in the first inning and verbal out for 236 runs in the second innings. In the second test also India very easily won the match by hundred and 78 runs and in the third match also the Indians won by a massive 321 runs.

2019-20

The first test was held at basin reserve in New Zealand, where the New Zealand team crashed the Indians and won the match by ten wickets. In this match, India scored 165 runs in the first inning and one 91 runs in the second innings and in reply New Zealand scored three 48 runs in the first inning and nine runs in the second. The second test which was held at Hagley Oval the New Zealand team again won by ten wickets in hand. In this match, the Indian team scored 242 runs in the first inning followed by 124 runs in the second hand in hand in reply the New Zealand cricket team scored 235 runs in the first end and followed by 132 runs for three wickets in the second innings.
