Players to watch out:

Georgia Voll

The 20-year-old all-rounder kicked off her summer with a 65 in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) opener, however, she failed to capitalize on her start. Following a string of low scores in the WNCL and her first couple of WBBL outings, Georgia bounced back with a 37 in her most recent game, and her bowling figures have been consistently strong – 1/13 (3.5) and 1/17 (3).

Nicola Hancock

The 27-year-old pacer had a fantastic lead-up to the WBBL, producing figures of 0/17 (4), 2/24 (7), 2/17 (5), and 0/13 (4) in the WNCL. She has successfully continued her brilliant form in the WBBL. Nicola had an expensive start to her campaign with figures of 0/38 (3). However, she quickly staged a comeback, registering figures of 0/18 (4) and 2/24 (4) in the following couple of games.

Sophia Dunkley

The 25-year-old batter in 37 Twenty20 Internationals, averaging 24.66 has amassed 740 runs, including a highest score of 61*, and has been consistently among the runs lately. However, she had a quiet start to her season, departing with scores of 10, 9, and 5. The Stars will be eager for Sophia to rediscover her form because when she is in good touch, it’s challenging to stop her from scoring.

Sophie Day

The 25-year-old off-spinner, in the lead-up to the WBBL, delivered several economical spells but remained wicketless in 4 WNCL outings, with figures of 0/33 (6), 0/27 (7), 0/51 (10), and 0/44 (10). In the WBBL, Sophie has put forward her wicket-taking ability on show, while also maintaining her economy, with bowling figures of 1/23, 3/24, and 0/20.
