1st Innings Summary – Opener Grace Harris played another notable innings of 47runs before getting out on last ball of 10th over. Sammy-Jo Johnson played a short yet quick innings adding valuable runs to the team’s scoreboard. Also, Brisbane Heat skipper Kirby Short played a calm innings. But Josephine Dooley played the most valuable and the best one in the middle overs. Adelaide Strikers’ captain used seven bowlers and all them were expensive, Sarah Coyte being the most expensive giving away runs with an economy rate of 11runs per over.
2nd Innings Summary – With an opening stand of 75runs in 10.4 overs, Adelaide Strikers’ openers had placed their team well in the match; but Delissa Kimmince provide the much needed breakthrough to her team by getting both the set batters out in 11th over. Adelaide Strikers never recovered from there on, loosing wickets in almost every over and run-rate going down drastically. Delissa took three wickets and Grace Harris bowled quite economically.
