Archana Devi
Archana, India’s first-choice off-spinner, is likely to play a crucial role in the World Cup. She is tall, has a strong arm action, and can generate significant bounce off the pitch. She pocketed three wickets in the recent series against New Zealand and South Africa, and she appears to have begun the bowling against Australia. Archana is also a useful lower-order hitter with the ability to routinely clear the rope and India will expect her to come strong.
