Parshavi Chopra
Parshavi, the team’s key leg-spinner, took five wickets in three games against New Zealand and two against South Africa. She took 2/14 from three overs in the warmup game against Australia. She isn’t a great ball turner, but she has superb control over her flight and a variety of variations at her disposal, including the flipper, which can be immensely important for picking wickets and stemming the run-flow. Parshavi, like Archana, is an effective lower-order hitter.
