G Trisha has been earmarked as the next best all-rounder from the domestic cricket ecosystem for her prowess. She has been playing cricket from a young age and broke into her domestic team at just 12. She is consistently scoring runs and it was on the back of her exploits that she was chosen for the squad. In the Challenger Trophy, she scored 117 runs, in the Quadrangular series, she scored 140 runs and in the New Zealand Development tour as well shone with her 115 runs. Her ability to strike boundaries and keep the run board ticking is what sets her apart and her wily leg-spin makes her imperative to India’s prospects.
