Both teams will play their second game in the tournament, having won their first fixture. While England beat Zimbabwe by 174 runs, Pakistan defeated Rwanda by eight wickets.

The captain of England Women’s U19 won the player of the match award in the last fixture against Zimbabwe Women’s U19. The southpaw opened the batting and muscled 45 off 32, including eight hits to the fence. She also claimed 2/4 in four overs, including two maidens, bowling off-spin.

Niamh Holland:

The right-handed top-order batter of England Women’s U19 top-scored with 59 off 37 in her last match against Zimbabwe Women’s U19. She smashed six boundaries and cleared the rope once in her entertaining innings. She put together 87 runs with Charis Pavely for the third wicket.

The right-handed opening batter of Pakistan Women’s U19 led the run chase from the front in her last outing against Rwanda Women’s U19. She hammered an unbeaten 65 off 60, including 11 boundaries. She bagged the player of the match award for her match-winning knock.

Areesha Noor:

The right-arm speedster of Pakistan Women’s U19 was the pick of the bowlers in her last appearance against Rwanda Women’s U19. She opened the bowling and scalped 19/2 in four overs, striking in the very first over of the match. She was the second-most economical bowler for her side.

It will be the fourth game of the tournament at this venue, with the third being played early in the day.
