Bray first rose to prominence when she was picked by the Sydney Sixers for the 10th edition of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) in 2024. In her debut match on October 27, 2024, she made an immediate impact by dismissing Deandra Dottin in a crucial one-over spell and contributing a quickfire 12 off 5 balls to guide her team to victory. Across the tournament, she showcased her all-around potential, claiming 10 wickets at an average of 20.80 and an economy rate of 7.42, while also scoring 37 runs in five innings.

Caoimhe Bray’s impressive WBBL performances earned her a place in Australia’s squad for the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 in Malaysia. Under the leadership of skipper Eleanor Larosa, Australia faced Scotland in the tournament opener at the YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi.
Bray produced a sensational spell, dismantling Scotland’s batting lineup with figures of 3.1-2-1-3. Her wickets included key players like Pippa Sproul and skipper Naimh Muir, both dismissed on consecutive deliveries in the fourth over. She added Mollie Parker’s wicket to her tally, conceding just a single run in her spell.
Skipper Eleanor Larosa also shone with the ball, delivering an excellent spell of 3-0-7-3, as Scotland was bowled out for just 48 runs in 15.1 overs. Australia chased the target with ease, finishing at 49/1 in 6.4 overs.
