Players to watch out for

Evelyn Jones: The left-handed opening batter of Birmingham Phoenix top scored with a run a ball 29 in her last outing against Oval Invincibles. She hit three boundaries in her innings and laid a solid foundation for the batters to follow. She held her ground when wickets were tumbling all around her.

Emily Arlott: The right arm speedster from Birmingham Phoenix was the one of the only two bowlers, who picked up a wicket in the last match against Oval Invincibles. She claimed 8/1 in 17 balls. She bowled a dozen dot balls and was the most economical bowler in the side. With the bat, she scored an unbeaten 15 off 11.

Lizelle Lee: The right-handed opening batter of Manchester Originals had a good outing with the bat in her last fixture against Northern Superchargers. The South African batter muscled 40 runs off 27 balls, including seven boundaries and a six.  In the process, she stitched a 57-run partnership with her opening partner Emma Lamb.

Kate Cross: The captain of Manchester Originals opened the bowling in her last appearance against Northern Superchargers. She bowled well with the new ball and displayed good control with her lines and lengths. She accounted for 26/1 in her full set of 20 balls and was one of the two successful bowlers for the team in that match.

Pitch

This will be the third match of the tournament at this venue. The teams batting first and the teams batting second have won one match each. The average first innings score is 135 and the average second innings score is 133. The wicket looks good for batting. Expect a run feast with good batting conditions and lightning-quick outfield.
