This will be the second match of the tournament for both the teams. While Oval Invincibles pipped Northern Superchargers by nine wickets in their last match, Southern Brave got the better of London Spirit by six wickets in their last outing. Both the teams have started their campaign on a positive note.

Lauren Winfield-Hill:

The right-handed opening batter of Oval Invincibles won the player of the match in her last outing against Northern Superchargers. She hammered an undefeated 74 off just 42 balls, including 11 boundaries and a six. She steered her team to a nine-wicket win chasing a competitive target of 144.

Ryana Macdonald-Gay: 

The right arm speedster from Oval Invincibles was the most successful bowler against Northern Superchargers in her last fixture. She scalped 25/2 in 15 balls, including the key wickets of Jemimah Rodrigues and Laura Wolvaardt. She bowled in the right areas on a consistent basis and yielded rich dividends.

Danielle Wyatt: 

The right-handed opening batter of Southern Brave bagged the player of the match award for her stellar innings of 65 from 34 balls against London Spirit in the last match. She smashed 12 boundaries and a couple of sixes in her entertaining knock. In the process, she stitched a 52-run opening stand with Smriti Mandhana.

Amanda-Jade Wellington:

The wily leg spinner of Southern Brave wreaked havoc with the ball as she claimed 30/3 in her full quota of 20 balls. Out of her three wickets, she picked up two off consecutive balls. She bowled well in the middle phase of the innings and contained the free flow of runs.

Pitch

This will be the second match of the tournament at this venue. The last match saw 289 runs being scored. Only six wickets fell in the process. The wicket is expected to be batting friendly. Expect a run feast as both the outfits have some great power hitters.
