Rita Musamali
The 24-year-old middle-order batter has racked up 928 runs from 66 T20I outings, including the highest of 103*, and claimed 20 wickets from 29 innings. Rita kicked off her campaign with a 35* in the warm-up game but hasn’t scored many runs since, including the opener where she departed for 6. It’ll be hoped she finds her way back among runs.
Evelyn Anyipo
The 27-year-old pacer, averaging 15.91 and maintaining an economy rate of 4.52, has scalped 47 wickets from 55 T20I innings. Though Evelyn finished wicketless in her previous 5 outings, she has been economical in most games. However, she hasn’t looked anywhere near her best and will have the backing of the team to find her rhythm.
Disha Dhingra
The 17-year-old opening batter, from 14 T20I appearances, has accumulated 234 runs, including the highest of 63*. Disha has been in notable form lately, registering scores of 58 and 23 in a couple of One-Day Internationals, while in the warm-up games recorded scores of 22 and 17. She can be relied upon to convert her starts, leading the scoring.
Isani Vaghela
The 17-year-old all-rounder in T20Is, from 15 outings has bagged 18 wickets and also chipped in with the bat, scoring 94 runs from 13 innings. Isani, in the warm-up games, registered scores of 19* and 15*, while also returning figures of 0/15 (1) and 1/10 (2). She is a promising all-rounder and will be banked upon for the goods, both with bat and ball.
Pitch:
The 22 yards at Zayed Cricket Stadium provide a somewhat neutral playing field, but the conditions are slightly advantageous to bowlers over batters. Spinners, in particular, benefit from the conditions, and a score in the 150s can be deemed competitive on this wicket.
