Bio:-

Gaby Lewis, a prominent figure in Irish cricket, made her senior debut for the national team at the remarkably young age of 13 in July 2014. She quickly rose to prominence, becoming the youngest player to participate in a Twenty20 International later that year. Over the years, Lewis has etched out a distinguished career both domestically and internationally, captaining teams like Scorchers in the Women’s Super Series and making significant contributions with the bat. From her early days playing alongside her sister and following in her family’s cricketing footsteps, Lewis has evolved into a key player for Ireland. Her achievements include being named as one of the breakout stars in women’s cricket by the ICC in 2018 and leading Ireland’s Women’s team at just 21 for a few matches and she is also the first Irish cricketer to score a century in a WT20I match.

In ODIs, Lewis has scored 1175 runs in 41 innings, with an unbeaten 96 as her highest score. Her batting average stands at 31.75. Additionally, she has taken 10 wickets in 17 bowling innings. In T20Is, she boasts 1879 runs in 81 innings, including a century. Her highest score remains an unbeaten 105, maintaining a solid average of 27.63 and an impressive strike rate of 113.39. Moreover, she has claimed 3 wickets in 7 innings with the ball.
