On November 1, three matches were played among six teams of Elite Group D in Round 4 of senior women’s one day tournament, a domestic competition in India.
Gujarat vs Madhya Pradesh – senior women’s one day trophy 2021-22
Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh locked horns against each other at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag. Batting first, Madhya Pradesh posted a respectable score of 243-6 in 50 overs and in reply Gujarat could only score 106-9 in 50 overs, losing the match by 137 runs. The opening pair of Neha Badwaik (62) and Aashna Patidar (54) provided a solid start to Madhya Pradesh. For Gujarat, it was their opening bat Simran Patel who top scored with 25 runs off 74 balls, including three boundaries. With the ball, Zeel Mithaiwala was the pick of the bowlers for Gujarat as she scalped 3-43 in her 10 overs, while for Madhya Pradesh, Pooja Vastrakar, Priti Yadav and Salonee Dangore accounted for two wickets apiece.

Haryana vs Goa – senior women’s one day trophy 2021-22
Haryana and Goa played against each other at Dr P.V.G. Raju ACA Sports Complex in Vizianagaram. Batting first, Goa piled up 202-7 in 50 overs, thanks to Tejashwini Duragad’s 41 off 64 balls, which included four boundaries and Shikha Pandey’s 40 off 70 balls, which also included four boundaries. In reply, Haryana was bowled out for 131 in 40.2 overs, courtesy of Rupali Chavan, who wrecked havoc with 4-22 in her nine overs. Haryana lost the match by 71 runs. For Haryana, Sheetal Rana top scored with a brilliant 53 off 99 balls, including seven boundaries and with the ball, Komal Ramesh and Priyanka Sharma claimed two wickets each.
Brief Score: Goa 202-7 in 50 overs (T Duragad 41; Komal 2-30, P Sharma 2-40) beat Haryana 131 all out in 40.2 overs (S Rana 53; R Chavan 4-22) by 71 runs.
Mizoram vs Vidarbha – senior women’s one day trophy 2021-22
Vidarbha took on Mizoram at Kandukuri Cricket Academy in Vizag. Batting first, Vidarbha posted a mammoth 352-3 in 50 overs, riding on Latika Inamdar’s (112) scintillating century. Prangini Chauhan (66), Disha Kasat (73 not out) and Kanchan Nagwani (58) chipped in with half-centuries to help Vidarbha put up a gigantic score on board. In reply, Mizoram were bowled out for a paltry 58 in 23.2 overs, thanks to Reena Paul’s 3-8 in 3.2 overs. Mizoram lost the match by 294 runs. For Mizoram, Felfel Pautu top scored with 16 runs off 38 balls, including two boundaries and with the ball, captain Apurwa Bhardwaj, Puipuii and Sangsangi claimed one wicket each.
