Scotland has announced their squad for the upcoming tour against the Netherlands. The Scotland Women’s team is set to play four ODIs and two T20Is against both the Netherlands and Papua New Guinea. This tour serves as part of their preparations for the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup scheduled for October.
The Scottish side enters this series fresh from their participation in the concluded ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in 2024. Despite a loss in the finals against Sri Lanka by 68 runs, they successfully secured their maiden appearance in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to be held later this year in Bangladesh. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the team as they look forward to competing on the global stage.
The series is set to commence on August 6th with the first of four ODIs scheduled for that day. ODIs will take place on August 8th, 11th, and 12th. Following the ODIs, Scotland will engage in a 2-match T20I series starting on August 15th, with the second match scheduled for August 16th.
