Both the teams have lost their last matches. While the Lionesses lost to the Princess, the Queens suffered defeat at the hands of the Angels.

Uma Venkatesan:
The right arm off spinner from Lionesses was the only wicket-taker in the last match against Princess. She claimed 21/1 in two overs and struck in the very last over of the match. The wily spinner failed to find any support from the rest of her bowling colleagues.
Anjana B:
The right-handed opening batter from Lionesses mustered an unbeaten 20 off 21 balls, including one boundary, in her last outing against Princess. She stitched a 33-run partnership with her opening partner Arthika Velmurugan to lay a solid foundation. However, the target of 102 was too tall a task for the Lionesses to chase.
Roshini Natarajan Rajasekaran:
The right-handed opening batter of Queens scored 14 runs off 19 balls, including two boundaries in her last outing against Angels. She looked good during her brief stay at the crease, however, failed to capitalize on the start. She put together 21 runs in five overs for the opening wicket with Reena Thirugnanam.
Soundharya Arumugam:
The right arm off spinner from Queens accounted for 6/1 in one over in her last appearance against the Angels. She came in to bowl as the first change and picked up a wicket in her very first over. Apart from her bowling, she scored an undefeated nine off eight balls, including one boundary, batting at number six.
Pitch
This will be the ninth match of the tournament at the venue. Out of the eight matches that were played till July 7, the teams batting first have won six and the teams batting second have won two. The average first innings score is 72 and the average second innings score is 52. Approaching the business end of the tournament, the wicket is expected to be on the slower side making it difficult for the batters to score freely.
