Welcome to the finals day of the Kia Super League. Two matches will be played today, A semifinal between Southern Vipers and the Loughborough Lightning and then the final between Western Storm and the team winning the semifinal clash.
Both Southern Vipers and Loughborough Lightning have played extremely well in this tournament. In the ten games that Loughborough Lightning has played, they have just lost three games, two against Western Storm and one against Southern Vipers. Amy Jones has been a star performer with the bat for them and they would want her to make a vital contribution to the team on the finals day.
Southern Vipers has had a rough tournament so far, winning just four games while losing four. While their one game ended in a no result and the other one in a tie. They have performed well while batting first in the tournament and haven’t been a great chasing team in the tournament. Danielle Wyatt has been exceptional with the bat while the others have chipped in from time to time.
Whichever team wins this game would go into the field straight away with the final scheduled to be played just an hr later this match finishes and would be exhausting for players to come out of pressure game and go into another. This could a game of nerves if it goes into the final over. The previous game that was played at hove saw a score around early 130s.
